IRON MAIDEN Frontman Flies Fans From Stockholm To Milan: Video Report Available
December 10, 2006Sweden's TV4 recently aired a six-minute report on IRON MAIDEN frontman Bruce Dickinson's Bruce Air Flight 666 from Stockholm to Milan, which took place on December 2. Watch the report at YouTube.com.
Commented Dickinson: "Outside of IRON MAIDEN, I work as an airline pilot. This is just something… I got into flying airplanes because it was fun. And now I kind of do it for a job, and it's still fun. And it's just a way of trying to pass it on, because… You know, it's really sad we have to keep this door locked. As pilots, we like to invite people up for the landing. We can't anymore. So this is the closest we can get. And of course, being the singer of IRON MAIDEN, it's brilliant, because we get to take everybody with us and go to the concert as well. . . Actually, our cabin crew love it as well, because they say heavy metal fans are the nicest passengers that they ever have to deal with. Everybody is really friendly and really cool!"
